Matthew Linton is responsible for a number of video based works. The most well known being Nine Days, Whistlestop Cafe, Cancer Journal- entry #37, The Chase, Perspectives of the Dance, and The Postman and Socrates. The works you will find in this section will include videos for use in larger installations, stand alone video works, and video performance. Matthew Linton has a rich history with performance art and began creating public performance pieces while living in Arizona in 1990. Video works are single and multi channel.

Matthew Linton is responsible for many sound pieces. Some have been integral parts of larger exhibitions while others are stand alone works. Linton is also one half of the collaborative sound team known as Synaptic Breakdown, whose CD will be available on these pages in the near future.

Here you will also find artist books. Matthew Linton is responsible for five limited editioned, hand made books. Going Numb, A Time for Running, The Color Me Book of New Mexico, The Leapord Lounge, and Dogs and Cats will each be available for online viewing in the near future.
