In 2005, Matthew Linton began exploring the remains left behind by the family pet. Ladybug, a black lab puppy, can remove the stuffing from a toy, pillow, blanket, mattress, or any other object in a matter of seconds. With a mix of high-modernist approach to color and form as well as a forensic interest in documenting the "scene," Matthew Linton has begun to create work on his own lawn. There is no formal artist statement at this time.
